Welcome to the gut-brain axis lab!

The Blacher Lab studies the gut-brain axis in aging and neurological disorders. By using advanced experimental techniques, systems biology tools, clinical trials and data analyses we decipher molecular mechanisms by which the gut and the brain communicate, and find novel targets to fight complex neurological diseases.
